Signs in the Constellations

Signs in the Heavens from 3 to 2 BC, the year Christ was born, show how the Magi would be in quite a stir, to take the long journey west, to follow the star to Bethlehem.

Dr Earnest L Martin’s book, The Star That Astonished the World, records the astronomical events in great detail.

The first sign given was on August 12, 3 BC. Jupiter known as the king star and Venus, known as the Mother or queen star, conjunctioned to give quite a bright morning star in the western sky. To the Magi Astrologers in the east, this was the birthing of something special.

Then starting later that same month, began another magical celestial event. In the constellation Virgo (Virgin) , the woman was clothed with the Sun and the moon began to move to under her feet. The picture of what is now Revelation 12, showing the birth of Christ, was on display.

At that time, the king star Jupiter, conjunctioned with the star Regulus, who was considered the royal star of the constellation Leo, as in the Lion of Judah. The Magi then knew, the message. A king in Judah was being born.

What is rarely understood is that these Magi from the east inherited a training from Daniel the prophet, from his time in Babylon. Daniel was put as head over all the astrologers (Dan 5:11). From the amazing miracles and fame of Daniel, its very reasonable to believe they had the book of Daniel and were adding up the years in Daniel 9:25, "unto Messiah the Prince", and had expectations that Messiah, in Judea, would soon be born.

They continued to watch as oddly, in the constellation of Judah (Leo), the conjunction between Jupiter and Regulus occurred 3 more times. These 3 conjunctions with Regulus would have shown Jupiter making a type of crowning effect over the star Regulus. It was as if the king planet Jupiter was placing a crown over the royal star Regulus, all in the constellation of Leo, the zodiacal sign of Judah. After these 3 conjunctions, Jupiter then continued it's journey west and had again, a rare union with Venus and this we believe was that star of Bethlehem they followed to find Christ, as now, a small child (Mt 2:11).

E.L. Martin thinks the birth of Jesus was September 11, 3 BC, when the Sun was clothing Virgo and was the first day when the moon moved to under the feet of Virgo, fulfilling the picture of Rev 12:1-5, which also just happened to be Rosh Hashanah, the Feast of Trumpets. He says the probable time of the Magi visiting Christ was late December, 2 BC. I hold some doubt to the Magi visiting the young Jesus in late December, but the astronomical phenomena here is just mathematical computation, accurate to the hour.

Here is something of noteworthy significance. More than 600 planetariums here and in Europe have revised their Christmas star show, to match this work of Dr. Martin. That must have been some pretty convincing work, for 600 planetariums, to revise their work, lending quite the evidence and authority, as to the year of 3/2 BC, being the birth of Christ. From this, in Luke 3:23, which says Christ was 30 years old at his the baptism, we arrive at the year AD 28.

When we then read in Daniel 9:25, unto the Messiah the Prince of Christ's coming, then in verse 27 in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and oblation to cease, we see a 3.5 year ministry from his baptism to his being cut off in the middle of the 70th week of years, at Passover in AD 32.

Of course, none of this matches anything Messiah 2030 has for the claim Christ was crucified in AD 30.

Now there is the issue of NASA records showing a mismatch, in some of the potential years of the crucifixion being on a Monday or a Wednesday. This is all irrelevant because Jews counted the weekly sabbaths off a lunar calendar and not a fixed 7 day weekly calendar like today. I overwhelmingly settle this issue at my blog lunarclock.blogspot.com.

Since as we have proven, Christ was baptized in AD 28, this lends even greater chronological synchronicity to his return at the 6000th year for 2028. At my Youtube channel @6000thyear, I thoroughly prove this chronology in 13 different ways in my video titled Messiah 2030 vs Messiah 2028.

Birth of Christ Constellation

Here is a list of a few of those 13 evidences.

1. No lunar eclipse in the supposed 3 BC death of Herod. There was a full lunar eclipse in 1 BC, supporting Josephus' record of when Herod died, pinning Christ's birth to 3 BC and baptism at AD 28.

2. The supposed 4 BC eclipse at Herod's death (in support for a 5 or 6 BC birth of Christ) is not possible. The 4 BC eclipse, by NASA records shows it would have taken place on March 13 that year. That's only 29 or 30 days to Passover. Josephus describes Herod's death right after a lunar eclipse, but Herod buried before Passover. Josephus' records show a number of events that are impossible to fit into that 4 BC, 30 day window between the eclipse and Passover. Those events include a 2 to 3 week time from physicians trying to heal Herod, 1 week of private mourning, the 4 weeks of public mourning before he was buried by Passover. Those events add up to 7 weeks of time, far exceeding the 4 BC, 30 day window. The January 10th, 1 BC eclipse scenario fits quite nicely, allowing 12 weeks between the eclipse and Passover, bringing Christ's birth to 3 BC and his baptism in AD 28, fulfilling Daniel 9's "unto Messiah the Prince" anchor in time.

3. Most notable church leaders/writers of the early church pin Christ's birth to 3 or 2 BC, not 5 or 6 BC (as covered above). The testimony of Christ's birth at 5 or 6 BC by the early church, is almost non existent.

4. The 3 BC Constellation alignment as described above.

5. Roman records, with Luke 3:1-3, show Christ's birth/baptism in 3 BC/AD 28. Roman records show Tiberius was not declared Caesar until AD 14. With inclusive reckoning of time used in those days, that put's the "15th year of the reign of Tiberius Caesar" in Luke 3:1 at AD 28, the start of John the Baptist's ministry and later that year, Jesus baptism.

6. The many God given supernatural signs shown at 2028end.com, are exactly 2000 from Christ's baptism in AD 28. While one may consider a few of those 20+ signs as weak, some of them are down right spectacular. A major factor to this, is that no other year has this going for it. No supernatural signs, with confirmations, to any other year are found online or in any testimony of the past.

7. Luke 2:1-2, tells us Quirinius was governor at the time of the census when Christ was born. Roman records show Quirinius was governor from 7-4 BC, what appear to be an evidence contradicting our records of a 3 BC birth of Christ. However the historian Tertullian says Saturninus was governor in 3 BC during the birth of Christ. Josephus also describes there being more than one governor at that time as well, eliminating the idea that Quirinius was sole governor. The writings of the early Christian apologist Justin Martyr confirms this, when he says Quirinius was procurator governor, while Saturninus was the resident governor.

8. Josephus describes Herod trying to put to death two very popular rabbis on the eve of the eclipse before his death. However, that's not possible in a 4 BC scenario because it was strictly against Hebrew law to put anyone to death on what was the holy day of Purim, 30 days before Passover.

9. Josephus says the War Of Varus broke out soon after the death of Herod, but Roman Records show there was a peace time in the empire from 7 to 2 BC, proving Herod died in 1 BC, a strong evidence against a 3 or 4 BC death of Herod and thus further proving the 3 BC birth/AD 28 baptism of Christ.

10. In the Roman records, Augustus received his 14th War Acclamation in 8 BC. During the 7 to 2 BC peace time era, there were no war acclamations given. However, Augustus received his 15th War Acclamation in the year AD 1. If a 4 BC death of Herod scenario were true, why were there no War Acclamations given in 3 to 1 BC? It is obvious, that by these strong compiled records of history, we can reach a very firm conclusion that Christ was born in 3 BC, and 30 years later, baptized in AD 28 (no year zero counted). These records prove Daniel 9's, "unto Messiah the prince", was fulfilled in AD 28, and serves as a strong underpinning and anchor to the Biblical chronology herein.

Many of these records were deeply researched by Dr Ernest L Martin at askelm.com and are at his site for all to research for themselves. With much of the Christian world of theologians in conflict with some of Dr Martin's other questionable teachings, no theologians wanting to, have been able to disprove his deeply researched chronology data.
